The protagonists name is Lisbeth Salander who is an intense character that goes through numerous trials and tribulations. She is an extremely strong and somewhat mental unstable woman, that takes the reader on a gripping journey.
Wicked is another great read with a very interesting female character. The story takes place before Dorothy is even in the picture. This novel looks into the life of the Elphaba, the green witch who later is known as the Wicked Witch of the West. It is a fun fast read into the life of this woman and how she came to be known as the witch.
Friends are also a great book recommendation resource to have. If there are people who might not be that close but they have similar novel taste, go ahead and ask them.
