How Twitter For Business, And A Marketing Firm Can Help Alex Smith’s Case To Become The 49ers Franchise QB. Or not…

Who desires to use Twitter for business to not look terrible? Alex Smith, that’s who. The now equipped San Francisco Quarterback has seen his season of tremendous accomplishment, after many seasons of epic failure. The question surrounding him right now is whether or not he’s a franchise Quarterback, of if he’s just another game manager. With the assistance of a marketing firm, he could turn his image around and change the way the NFL views him, but his numbers speak for themselves.

This next off season Alex Smith will become a free agent, and the question abides as to whether or not the San Francisco system sees a plausible future with their first round Quarterback. He has had some unbelievable moments this season as the 49ers main signal caller without a doubt, and in the eyes of 49ers fans everywhere he’s begun the turning the corner phase as they have watched their first round draft pick Quarterback connect with Vernon Davis to beat the New Orleans Saints in the second round of the playoffs.

They then witnessed their first round draft pick throw to the same Vernon Davis for a 70+ yard touchdown reception against the New York Giants defense. The Giants defense has been a enormous question mark all season long, but in the last few weeks have done an impressive job of shutting down opposing explosive offenses. Unfortunately the game against the Giants ended in an terrible loss, and towards the end of the game, facing an evil pass rush in the form of Chris Canty, Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, and pro bowl selection Jason Pierre-Paul, Smith couldn’t have done anything.

Flip to the other side of the ball during this game, and you have Eli Manning, who was hit more times, knocked down more times, and sacked more times than Smith was, but Eli Manning, the contemporary league Iron Man just kept on trucking. This is something that Alex Smith has to figure out, how to take a no joke bashing, and continue making plays in the clutch to come out victorious. There could be hope in the future for Alex Smith though, there could be, if the 49ers are willing to take a stand with this Quarterback, or go shopping for another.

Fact is that Alex Smith has a lifetime completion rate of 58%. That’s not something that you desire in a Quarterback, but Eli Manning had a completion rate of 58% when he won Superbowl 42. Maybe Mr. Smith could take something from Eli Manning and locate a way to win in the clutch in the future. Who knows, Eli Manning was nearly run out of New York before he won his first Superbowl. I say give the man a future, anything can happen on any given Sunday!
