If you’re looking for a gift for someone then there are usually many different factors to consider in choosing it. You need to make sure first of all that the gift is within your price range – and that doesn’t only mean it has to be affordable, it means that it has to be suitably priced with regards to the recipient and your relationship with them. For example if you buy a gift for 100 dollars to give to someone you work with then they may well think they have a stalker, while if you buy a gift for $10 for your wife… she may divorce you. Then there’s the fact that a gift has to be at once valuable (within that price range) and thoughtful. You can’t give your wife or mother cash or a gift card as it seems as though you haven’t really put much thought into their present. At just the same time though you’re probably a little old to be drawing cards for people if you’re reading this (and if you’re reading it in your head then you definitely are). Unless you’re Picasso of course… Then the gift has to be unique – in that the recipient at least can’t already have one and if you don’t know them all that well, or they just have a lot of stuff, then that really isn’t going to be that easy. There’s a lot to bear in mind.
